Everything In Budget: Grooming The Old Car For Your Wedding

By Austin Aaron

Weddings are as beautiful and romantic as they are very expensive. That is a tested fact. Everything reeks of a dollar sign from the day leading to the big day when the boy proposes to the girl with an engagement ring to the honeymoon break. But as any penny pincher will tell you, you can always cut cost.

Saving shouldn't be a tragic affair. Your dream wedding is still possible even with a decreased budget. Say, rather than the easily-wilt tulips, have roses or carnation in the identical color. Or search for thrift shops that give discount when you buy a large volume of that variety. Mementos may be hand-crafted, clothes may be sewed or leased, catering may be home-cooked, and arrangers and music may be friend volunteers. Almost everything can be purchased cheaper.

But there are still some items that stay costly even if there are comparatively cheaper already. Your wedding car can cost you from a few hundred dollars to more than a thousand. Even if you look for a less expensive car lease, it will still cost your hundreds of dollars.

So why not use your own old yet running auto instead? Turn your old car into a stunning vintage. The difference between the two is that old is outdated, while vintage is retro. People are going for retro nowadays so even if your automobile is already decades old, you can save a lot by turning it into your wedding car rather than renting.

Begin by grooming your treasured automobile. What's really good about this is that not only will you save hundreds of dollars in lease, you get to rejuvenate your vehicle's beauty as well. And this just won't last for a couple of hours on your wedding day. You need to groom your car regularly anyway, so why not just use it for your big day?

Vintage is regarded as fashionable and chic today. So even if your vehicle doesn't fall into the category of the upper end class, you need not worry. Your old Volks would even do if it is still in good working shape. Color isn't an issue anymore as well. While only white would do in the yesteryears, any other color available will as well do so no need for a fresh paintjob.

You would need the requisite decorations, of course. Add the flowers on the hood and the the "Just Married" streamer at the rear of the auto and you're all set.
