The regular food wraps we buy to protect food from bacteria while storing it in our refrigerators is made of aluminum. Aluminum has such properties that make it highly likely to be chosen for such purposes.

It has so many properties that make it a likely element of the periodic table for such uses. Even though, other elements possess some features but it is the complete set of physical properties that sets it apart from others. Properties such as malleability and lightweight are a rare combination. The element is so malleable that it can be wrapped around bowls to keep its contents protected. Here are mentioned a few of those many uses sheet aluminum has over others.

Pastry bags: You can use two sheets of aluminum to make a pastry bag and top your cake with the perfect frosting.

For Sharpening the Scissors: If you feel that your scissors have gone bad and you are about to dispose them off, give it a last shot. Take several layers of aluminum sheet and cut them through using the scissors. The cutting feature ought to improve after cutting out ten sheets.

Prevent Corrosion: You have recently noticed some corrosion on your car chrome and you just cannot seem to get rid of it. You have tried everything, you say. However, did you try the power of aluminum sheets. Just use a little water and scrape it off the car chrome. You can have the shiny chrome back.

Oven Cleaner: If you use your oven for a lot of baking and have the insides all burnt, you can get rid of them by using the earlier mentioned technique. After cleaning, also layer it with aluminum sheets that should not burn your oven anymore.

Keep birds Away From Your Trees: Hang irregular pieces of aluminum cut off from sheets to your fruit trees. The rustling and sounds will frighten the birds and keep them away from eating up your fruits.

Prevent Soap Dissolving: Soaps easily dissolve when left in the puddle on your soap dish. To prevent that from happening, cover the base of the bar with a small piece of aluminum sheet.

Cover Furniture: Animals cannot stand aluminum sounds or even its feel. In order to keep your dog away from that new sofa or from biting off the chair legs, wrap it up in aluminum sheet. A week of aluminum torture will keep them away from your favorite sofa.

Hazy Pictures: If you have your DVD player and television stacked on top of each other this may result in hazy pictures due to electromagnetic waves clashing with each other. You can improve the picture quality by inserting a layer of aluminum sheet in between the two devices.

Sheet aluminum can be used in so many more ways apart from those mentioned above. The properties have made it likely to be used in almost any case.
