Internet Marketing Has Changed - Forever!

By Travis Stephenson

You know, many of individuals are jumping into the Making Money Online industry without having the right information.. and it's killing our industry. The way I see it, you can't go a day without a new $47 program coming out, and it's only worth $10, if that! It's a little disappointing for me because I know the CORRECT way to make money online and it has nothing to do with these unreliable programs that NEVER end up making customers any money.

And what happened to good ol' accountability? I mean, when you sell someone a program, you should treat them as a customer and not someone you couldn't care less about. I can understand being focused in your work and not being able to change gears to work directly with customers, but no matter how busy life gets... you ALWAYS have to remember that you owe your customers for all of your progress.

There is a MASSIVE disconnect between someone who owns a program, and their customers. In the "launch" model, merchants pull in 15-20k new customers and can't possibly pay attention to all of them... so that's their excuse! Affiliate Marketing used to have a lot more responsibility, then people started getting more irresponsible.

So it is all the advertisers problem? Well not totally... but I have always felt this situation could have been completely avoided if people would have used the systems they bought instead of going on forums and spreading rumors that the program sucked. That's what started the negative view of "Guru's". There are a lot of "guru's" out there who really do know what their teaching and can really teach you a lot!

So yeah, a lot of this is ranting but I can't help but be upset with the way that our industry has driven itself. Too many bad products, not enough attention to customers, and a lack of overall consciousness about what they are ACTUALLY doing by under delivering and over promising. Not to mention the lack of knowledge of Online Marketing. Now the entire industry is getting harder. It's more difficult to sell products, more difficult to build programs, and almost impossible to make buyers happy.

So if you take nothing else from this... just remember, Online Marketing is absolutely changing and will continue to change and we just have to live with the direction it's going. So if you're interested in Internet Marketing remember to remember your customers.
